Down the drain
Modern home building has come a long way from the asbestos and lead paint days of the past, but many fundamental practices have survived the tides of time. One of those fundamental practices is diverting water away from the roof by using rain gutters. Unfortunately everything can eventually break down and begin to cause small problems that, if left untreated, can lead to much bigger problems. This garages wall experienced the wrath of rain water runoff. It went unnoticed for years, allowing water to pool inside of the wall and eventually allow mold to grow.
Our experienced technicians were able to first cut away the affected material. After suspecting and confirming the presence of mold behind the drywall, the area was treated with a variety of proprietary cleaning products. The mold was returned to baseline levels successfully.
