Commercial Roof Collapse
SERVPRO of Chino / Chino Hills responded to a commercial storm loss wherein a roof had pooled a great deal of water before eventually buckling under the weight and collapsing in to the offices and other rooms below. This was a major mitigation job that required many hours of work to restore. BEFORE PICTURE: Wet floor tiles and affected drywall in another office. Water damage can be seen on the bare white walls. AFTER PICTURE: Affected wet drywall has been removed, exposing the metal framing underneath. Metal framing does not retain water, but there is a risk of mold growing behind the drywall regardless of the type of framing.
